The Mini Con by Naiccon Women in Esports and Gaming Breakfast meeting is adedicated networking and industry engagement session that brings together women gamers, creators, professionals, and leaders from across the gaming and esports ecosystem. The session provides a space to share experiences, build meaningful connections, explore opportunities, and inspire greater participation, visibility, and leadership for women within the industry.

Industry ProfessionalAnn Ndanu is the Co-Founder of NAICCON and a gaming and esports advocate in Kenya and Africa. She is focused on advancing the creative industry and gaming ecosystem by creating opportunities, fostering collaboration, and connecting players, creators, and industry stakeholders.
Dean Gachukie
Industry ProfessionalDean Gichukie is the CEO and founder of Kunta Content, a Kenyan game studio focused on creating authentic African stories through games. He is leading the development of HIRU, an African action-adventure game inspired by Maasai culture, and has helped position Kunta Content as one of Africa’s most recognized game studios.
Mary Mwangi
PanelistMary Mwangi is a Kenyan sports and lifestyle entrepreneur associated with Lejiona Lifestyle Centre, a community hub that promotes wellness, sports, and gaming. The centre features a gaming hub and supports youth teams and activities that encourage participation in sports and esports.
Shon Osimbo
PanelistShon is a passionate and accomplished sports media professional with over a decade of experience in broadcasting, storytelling, and sports journalism. Shon Osimbo serves as the National Team Manager for Kenya for the Esports Nations Cup.
Shantel Wanjiru
Industry ProfessionalShantel known to the community as Starlight is one of Kenya’s leading professional esports athletes, content creators, and competitive gaming coaches. Specialising in football simulation titles, she is widely recognized as one of the best female EA Sports FC (formerly FIFA) and eFootball players in the country.

Women in Esports Breakfast meeting
10am -12 noon Women in Esports Breakfast Meeting brings together women gamers, creators, professionals, and industry leaders for meaningful conversations, networking, and collaboration. The session aims to strengthen community, spotlight opportunities, and empower more women to thrive and lead within the gaming and esports ecosystem. This ticket will give you access to the Breakfast meeting and to the entire event but not the tournaments. If you need to participate in one of the tournaments, please purchase an Event ticket and register separately under the competitions category.
Game Developers Mentorship & Pro Advice session
Gives access to entire event experiences as listed on page and A mentorship and advisory session designed for entry-level game developers and aspiring creators looking to grow in the industry. Participants will receive practical guidance from experienced professionals on the games they are currently creating, including feedback on gameplay, design, development, and market readiness. The session also covers key insights into marketing, publishing, and building games for both professional and competitive audiences, helping developers refine their work and take it to the next level.
